James Poole began his work life as a public school educator. He quickly moved into industrial sales and eventually became a sales engineer and sales manager working for distributors of industrial air compressor systems. James earned an MBA in Systems Thinking in 1988 and shortly thereafter joined the faculty of a technical school as a manufacturing systems consultant. In 1996 James launched the Lifetime Learning Company to help organizations improve employee performance.
Along with an MBA, James holds a B.S. in Education and certifications in DISC Assessment, ISO 9000:2000 Lead Auditor, Instructional Systems Design, Self-directed Team Facilitator and Public School Administration. He is currently an adjunct instructor for Kent State University where he teaches training and development courses. James is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement and the Society for Human Resource Management.
James resides in suburban Cleveland, Ohio with his wife, Judy, and their three sons.
